A GLOSSARY OF MEXICAN FOOD : Elotes

The Mexican word for corn on the cob, a popular street food that is either boiled or grilled (or both). Elotes are usually served on a stick, and condiments such as salt, chili powder, butter, lemon or lime juice, and mayonnaise can be added.
